Following their release in March, the male and female cheetah on Botlierskop Private Game Reserve are still in good condition. These images from a few days ago show them to be quite at ease, frequently relaxing in the lovely fynbos bush.

The female is having no trouble feeding herself and keeping stuffed! She has astounded us all with how quickly she adapted given the severity of her previously wounded knee and the surgeries she needed prior to rehabilitation at Ashia.

The male cheetah is still on the run as he gradually develops the muscles in his hind legs and gains power and self-assurance. He's established on the reserve and in good form.
